The Gospel Coalition and Lent?

Feb - 14 - 2013
Richard Barcellos

Though I am certain not all involved with The Gospel Coalition (TGC) advocate a Protestant version of Lent, I am also certain that two recent TGC posts advocate it. You can see those here and here. I think this is a move in the wrong direction, and I do not think I am alone. Over at The Reformed Baptist Fellowship blog, some of my concerns were posted by the moderators of that site. You can read the post here. Also, Carl R. Trueman provides brief comment on the same issue here.
