What we collect

Grace Reformed Baptist Church (“GRBC”) stores your name, email address, and role when you’re added to the directory. If you provide them, we also store your phone number, mailing address, and birthday — other members only ever see the month and day of your birthday, never the year. You can add a profile photo, or use one of the site’s built-in portraits instead. Anything you post — prayer requests, community posts and comments, sign-up entries — is stored so the right people can see it. Bug reports through “Report a problem” are tied to your account, not anonymous, so we can follow up. We also log sign-ins and failed sign-in attempts for security; your password is stored hashed, and two-factor authentication is available if you want it.

Who can see it

Fellow members can see your name, your birthday (month and day), how long you’ve been part of the church, and your profile photo. Your phone number and address are hidden unless you choose to make them visible — site admins can always see them, to do their work. If you ask to join the church, your testimony, name and photo are shared with the congregation before the members’ vote; that is part of becoming a member. If you post a prayer request anonymously, your name is hidden from every other member, including the elders and stewards, everywhere it appears. Private community rooms are limited to the members added to them (leaders and admins can always see them, to help oversee). An admin can hide a post or suspend an account misusing the space — nothing is deleted, just hidden until it’s lifted.

How we use it

Your information runs the directory and the members’ area, and helps the elders shepherd the congregation. We also keep simple, anonymous counts of which features get used — never tied to who did it. We do not sell your information. It is used only to run the site and care for the congregation, and is never shared for any other purpose.

Online giving

If online giving is enabled on this site, donations are processed by a third-party payment provider under that provider’s own privacy and security terms. GRBC does not store your payment card information.

Changing or removing your information

You can change your details, photo and what others see in Settings, download a copy of what you’ve written, and delete your own account there. Deleting your account erases it and your testimony. Prayer requests and posts you made stay, shown as from a “Former Member”, unless you delete them first. For anything else, ask a site admin — you’ll find who that is in the member directory — or submit a “Report a problem” ticket from the members’ area. We keep only what GRBC needs.

Member Content

Text, photographs and other material that a member submits to this site (“Member Content”) is made available to those members who have been granted access to the area in which it is posted. A member may remove their own Member Content at any time. The Church does not sell, rent or trade Member Content, and does not intentionally disclose it to any party outside the congregation, except with the member's consent or where required by law.
