First Things

The Holy Scripture in both the Old and New Testaments is the only sufficient, certain, and infallible rule of all saving knowledge, faith, and obedience. All of which are given by the inspiration of God and nothing at any time is to be added or deleted. The infallible rule of interpretation of Scripture is the Scripture itself. (2 Tim. 3:15-17)
God, having all life, glory, goodness and blessedness, in and of Himself, is all-sufficient. He is most Holy, to Him is due from angels and men whatsoever worship, service, or obedience, as creatures they owe unto the Creator.
In this divine and infinite Being there are three subsistences: the Father, the Word or Son, and Holy Spirit, each having the whole divine essence, yet the essence undivided; therefore, but one God, which doctrine of the Trinity is the foundation of all our communion with God. (Ps. 148, Mat. 28:19, 2 Cor. 13:14)

Creation, the Fall, and Christ

In the beginning it pleased God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, to create or make the world, and all things, in the space of six days. God created man, male and female, being made after the image of God, in knowledge, righteousness, and true holiness, having the law of God written in their hearts.
In the Fall of Mankind, although God created humanity upright and perfect, and gave them a righteous law, yet they did not long abide in this honor. Satan used the craftiness of the serpent to seduce Eve, who then seduced Adam, who also transgressed the law. By this sin, they fell from their communion with God, and we all, with them, become dead in sin, soul and body. (Rom. 3:23, Eph. 2:1-3)
The Lord Jesus, the son of God, the second person in the Holy Trinity, being very man and very God, did, in the fullness of time, take upon Him human nature yet without sin. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit in the womb of the Virgin Mary; and being the only mediator between God and humanity, He called, justified, sanctified, and glorified a people for Himself. (Gal. 4:4-6)
