What We Believe
Second London Baptist Confession of Faith (1689)
We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God, and the sole basis for any statement of faith. We adopt the Second London Baptist Confession of Faith of 1689 as a faithful and historic expression of that faith — not as a rival to Scripture, but as an assistance in controversy and a confirmation in belief.
1.
Baptism and the Lord's Supper are ordinances of positive and sovereign institution, appointed by the Lord Jesus, the only lawgiver, to be continued in His church to the end of the world.

These holy appointments are to be administered by those only who are qualified and thereunto called, according to the commission of Christ.
